Click Here for More Information Cut The Budget Cut I write in regard to the proposed budget cut of $5,000 that would have a severe negative impact on the Rockaway community. Community, Board 14 services nearly 120,000 residents residing in our community and serves as our front line of defense in responding to and fighting for my constituents. A budget cut would drastically affect their office's information mailings, significantly reduce the hours of their part-time worker, or cause them to lay off their workers. Therefore, I am requesting you cut the fat in your own unit. Our community board has serviced our community in a great capacity; any cut, minor or major, will be a disservice to the people of the 31 District. I trust you will take this letter into consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you on this matter.
