for larger version       Kenneth J.Kearing Childhood Rockaway Resident Kenneth J. Kearing, a childhood Rockaway resident, died November 25. He was 45. Kearing grew-up in Rockaway Beach. His fondest childhood memories of Rockaway were the ocean, childhood friends and spending time with his grandparents Paddy and Georgina Cummings. He is survived by his mother Marie Dunston; sister, Diane Keating; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and children.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home in Hamden, CT. A Funeral Mass was held at Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Hamden. Interment was at the Cemetery of Holy Rood in Old Westbury, New York.
