for larger version       Ads have a Patent Pending. Click Here for More Information Daniel Gerard Fanning Daniel G. Fanning, a former Broad Channel resident, died November 9. He was 68. Fanning, a steamfitter with local 638 lived in Broad Channel for 36 years. He is described by family as a poet who never quit. Fanning was preceded in death by Charles Fanning, Dorothy Malone, Eleanor Lipino, and Edward Fanning. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; son, Daniel; daughter, Kathleen McCoy; brothers, John and Robert; sisters, Mary Healy and Teresa DeFrancesca; and grandchildren, Brian Gill and Kelsey McCoy.
Amemorial service will be held at St. Virgilius Church on December 8 at 10 a.m. All other funeral arrangements were kept private.
