St.Camillus School Gets Involved With Mets And Writing
 | | In October, the Mets had a family game night. St. Camillus School sold the second highest number of tickets and was invited on the field to receive a certificate for participating in the event. Michelle Allocca, fourth-grade teacher; and Justin Carricato, third-grader, were selected to represent the school. |

 | | Seven winners from Miss Allocca's fourth-grade class received awards for their writing and art work submitted to the Queens Historical Society art/writing contest. Students were asked to choose a historical place, draw a picture, and write an essay about the place they chose.  | | Students in the third, fourth, and fifth grades took part in a special vote for the New York State butterfly. Each student researched six different butterflies that had been selected to be part of the final vote. The black swallowtail butterfly received the most votes from the students.
