for larger version       Sorrentino Presents Mommy & Me Double Dutch On Saturday, November 24, the Sorrentino Recreation Center will hold its 16th Annual Mommy & Me Double Dutch Tournament at 1848 Cornaga Avenue. The tournament will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. What's important about this tournament is that this event recognizes of the importance of early formal training in Double Dutch. It teaches that dedication and hard work are some of our greater attributes. It is an opportunity for mothers and children to share quality time together. They will also enjoy participating in the sport, share responsibilities such as turning and jumping and learning what teamwork means. The event will take place at the Sorrentino Center at 1848 Cornaga Avenue, which is located on the corner of Beach 19 Street.
