The Federation Employment and Guidance (F.E.G.S.) Programs Beacon at PS/MS 43 hosted a Far Rockaway Health Fair last weekend that gave residents a chance to have their glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol levels tested and have various organizations answer health-related questions.

Among the organizations involved were the American Red Cross, St. John's Episcopal Hospital, the New York City Department of Health and Vitamin Water.
Visitors to the health fair were able to get their glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels checked by a nurse from St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
Organizations such as FEGS, the New York City Health Department and various insurers were on hand to provide residents with answers to their health related questions.
