Liotta, who grew up in Rockaway, was born on January 6, 1935 in Brooklyn. Liotta is survived by his sister, Liboria Knott; niece, Nancy Wagner; nephews, Edward and Richard Knott; great-nieces and -nephews, Kurt, Jeannine, and Steven Wagner, Kristen, Shannon, Cindy, Angela and Kerri Anne Knott.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis DeSales Church. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
