Quilts and Blankets Donated to ADHC

Pictured are ADHC nursing supervisor, Kathy Ryan; social work supervisor, Sharon Skylar; ADHC registrant Lillie Jones; Lachner; Little; and Saphia.
Last week, registrants of the Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Center at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation received quilts and blankets, to be used as lap throws, from members of the St. Francis DeSales Quilting Group.

The items were donated to the ADHC through Gloria Saphia and Barbara Lachner, both St. Francis Quilting Group and Peninsula Hospital Center (PHC) Auxiliary members.

ADHC director Joyce Little praised the group for their "compassion and generosity."

"It is just overwhelming to realize how charitable and big-hearted our community is throughout the year. Our registrants will be very grateful for these gifts that come to them from such caring individuals."
