Greenidge Appointed 101 Precinct Business Liaison Officer
By Miriam Rosenberg

Michael Greenidge
As part of the 101 Precinct's desire to work more closely with local merchants, Captain Brian McMahon - the precinct's commanding officer - has assigned a new Business Liaison Officer, P.O. Michael Greenidge, as the bridge between business owners and the local police.

Greenidge, a five-year NYPD veteran, becomes the second to hold the position of business liaison officer, after McMahon created the post. Greenidge replaces Officer Juan Nunez, who was transferred to community affairs over the summer.

"It is an honor to be given this position by Captain McMahon, which allows me the opportunity to work oneon one with the Far Rockaway business district," said Greenidge, who has been with the 101 Precinct since joining the force.

Greenidge can be reached by calling the 101 Precinct's community policing unit at 718-868-3473.
