Red Cross Training Available Now

State Senator Malcolm Smith is encouraging Rockaway residents to participate in first aid, CPR, and other emergency care training offered by the American Red Cross in Greater New York (ARC/GNY).

"These skills can make a real difference, maybe even save a life," Senator Smith said.

The Red Cross has recently released the Safety and Preparedness Training schedule, which may be viewed by visiting www.nyredcross.org or by calling 212-875-2222 for more information.

The ARC/GNY is the largest Red Cross chapter in the country that provides immediate aid to victims of fires, floods, and other natural disasters.
