FR Man Stabs His 'Friend'
      A Rockaway resident was charged with assault last week after he allegedly stabbed his friend in the stomach, police said. James Poole, 25, took a knife and sliced into the 32-year-old victim's abdomen, causing a punctured intestine that required 24 stitches, according to police.
