BCHS-FRHS Peninsula Battle

After a one-year hiatus, the peninsula high school football rivalry between Beach Channel and Far Rockaway is on again. On Sunday, November 4, the two varsity PSAL teams will battle for bragging rights at Far Rockaway High School. The game starts at 11 a.m.

In 2006, the PSAL did not schedule a matchup between the two peninsula high schools. The last time these two teams met, Far Rockaway were the victors on October 15, 2005 in a 45-12 drubbing at Beach Channel. RB Jeremy Pruitt rushed for 102 yards and scored two touchdowns for Far Rockaway. On Saturday, November 3, the JV teams will battle at Far Rockaway High School at 11 a.m.
