Samuel Morgan Jr., a lifetime Rockaway resident, died October 16. He was 57.

Morgan, a speaker maker, was born in Harlem on June 6, 1950. He is survived by his parents, Earline and Samuel Morgan Sr.; his sisters, Yvonne and Janice Morgan, and Alberthe Bradley; brothers, Eugene, David and Timothy Morgan; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and services were held at Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Friendship chapel. Interment was held at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale.
