100 Precinct Community Council Honors Sgt.Cerrato

The 100 Precinct Community Council held its monthly meeting this Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, and paid honor to Sergeant Joseph Cerrato with the Police Officer of the Month award.

In addition, Captain Tom Barrett pointed out that certain categories of crime are on the rise, especially car theft.

He encouraged people to participate in the VIN etching crime prevention program, pointing out that it may save individuals 5 percent on their car insurance premiums.
