In conjunction with the Arverne Library Friends Association, the Arverne Library will host a gala auction on Friday, October 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Arverne community library, located at 312 Beach 54 Street. Everyone is invited to bid on services such as an extreme makeover, chef services for one evening, an expert handyman and a one-hour yoga session. Refreshments will be served to attendees.
