New York State Senate Democratic Leader Malcolm A. Smith and Deputy Leader Jeff Klein met with Speaker of the U.S. House of Representative, Nancy Pelosi, on Thursday, October, 18, in Washington D.C. to discuss children's health Care, homeland security and mortgage lending reforms.

The N.Y.S. Democrats will continue their "Get Back to Work" campaign in Buffalo and Rochester where they will call of movement on key issues pending in the New York State Legislature.
