DOB: Stop Work Order Lifted

Construction workers continue to build the new Rite Aid Pharmacy, where a Stop Work Order has been lifted.
The Stop Work Order placed on the lot at Beach 108 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard has been lifted and work has now resumed on construction of a new Rite Aid Pharmacy.

According to a Department of Buildings spokeswoman, the Stop Work Order was lifted when the applicant, Efstathios Valiotis, provided amended plans that complied with building and zoning regulations. The lot will still consist of a one-floor, 15,000 square-foot pharmacy, with a large 52-car parking lot and loading dock.
