Louida Trimmier

Louida Trimmier, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died October 1.

Trimmier was born in Anderson, South Carolina on February 12, 1912. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Far Rockaway since 1976. In May of 2007 she was honored by the Church when she reached her 80th birthday.

Reardon was preceded in death by her parents, Fromie and Eddie Moore; husband, John Trimmier; and daughter Fannie.

She is survived by her sister, Grace Johnson; grandson, Tony (Carol) Smith; great-grandchildren, Norris, Dawn and Carleton Smith; nieces, Laurine and Caroline Williams; and a special friend, David Herbert.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and services were held at the First Baptist Church of Far Rockaway. Interment was at Able Baptist Church Cemetery in Clemson, South Carolina.
