Jazzy 3-on-3 Tournament

The unusual warm temperatures this October has warmed up the courts of the ongoing Inwood Terrace Gardens Park and the Jazzy Sports Inc. 3- on-3 Basketball Tournament.

Last Saturday afternoon, the 80 degree plus temperatures was the backdrop for another exciting day of basketball.

With only a few weeks left in the regular season, the Jazzy Rockets continue to be at the top of the standings with a 33-9 record.

The Bayswater All-Stars are in second place at 25- 10; Roc Da Fellas are 20-14; Ledburn has a 14-9 record; A new team, DA (Dynasty) Rock, are 7-3 and The Redfern Rockers are 5-28.

Taking the ball to the hoop and to the top of the scoring leaders continues to be Warren "The Warrior" McAllister, who leads the Jazzy Rockers with 185 points. In second place, Bayswater All-Stars' Charles "The Beast" Caver scored 133 points.

The rest of top scorers include Johnny "The Cat" Rutledge, who scored 124 points for Roc Da Fellas;

Chuck "Da Cross" Moore scored 120 points for the Jazzy Rockers. Gerren "The Fox" Devlin, who scored 110 points for the Jazzy Rockers; Ivan "Poison Lacrosse" Quinones, scored 82 points and Jamal "Da Dealer" Hill recorded 70 points.

Jazzy Sports Inc. invites everyone to watch the tournament continue this Saturday at 12 p.m. At the conclusion of the regular season, teams will compete in a best-of-three tournament. In the championship, the winner must win three out of five games to be crowned the winner.
