Jazzy 3-on-3 Tournament Continues

October has arrived but there is still plenty of basketball remaining at the second annual, Jazzy Sports Inc. 3- on-3 basketball tournament in Inwood Terrace Gardens Park.

The Jazzy Rockets have kept to their namesake by rocketing to the top of the standings with a 28-7 record. The Bayswater All-Stars are in second place at 21- 19; Roc Da Fellas are 15-10; Ledburn, who leap into the standings with a 10-5 record; the Redfern Rockers are 5-20, and the Inwood All-Stars are 0-21.

The leading scorer in the league continues to be Warren "The Warrior" McAllister, who leads the Jazzy Rockers with 133 points. In second place, Bayswater All-Stars' Charles "The Beast" Caver has 93 points. The rest of top five scorers include Gerren "The Fox" Devlin, who scored 78 points for the Jazzy Rockers; Chuck "Da Cross" Moore scored 75 points for the Jazzy Rockers; Johnny "The Cat" Rutledge scored 64 points for Roc Da Fellas; Rob "Da Smoke" Pearson with 49 points and Jamal "Da Dealer" Hill, with 28 points. Jazzy Sports Inc. invites everyone to watch the tournament continue this Saturday at 12 p.m. At the conclusion of the regular season, teams will compete in a best-of-three tournament and in the championship, the best-of-five.
