Sullivan's letter, and yes, I too had many a good time at ye old Hammels Senior Center now Seaside Adult Senior Center, corner of Beach 90 and Rockaway Beach Boulevard. Sitting with Abe, Jim, Ann, Bernie, Meyer, Josie, Goldy and the rest of the old gang. Nice party every last Tuesday of the month. D.J., dancing, sing-along, coffee, ice cream. Yum yum! And I sure hope they repair the old place. And I see someone working on it. Praise the Lord. So I'll be seeing ya soon, rite? But I gotta admit, I had a better time when it was Gilroy's Bar when I was 20. 65 years ago.
