Environmental Emergency
Dear Editor,

Goons have been dispatched to destroy, and are in act of destroying, the magnificent forested areas lying between Ocean Village and Beach 32 Street, between the boardwalk and the elevated A train.

At public expense, at YOUR expense, the moonscaping of one of the last remaining, ocean-adjacent green spaces in New York City is bums' rush advancing in preparation for the gifting of this irreplaceable, life-enhancing, crown-jewel public land to private profiteers.

Now, in early October, before I submit and distribute a major writing on the high crimes and high corruption attached to the plunking-down of monstrosity cheese boxes on our land, the land thieves serving them from within the Giuliani/Bloomberg administration must be stopped immediately.

STEPHEN WOHL
