Dayton Beach Park Board Members
Dear Editor,

I've been on the board of Dayton Beach Park for three years. A lot of decisions on this co-op have been made at private meetings, which I am against. Also, some board members haven't come to a meeting for "who knows how long". Millions of dollars of the people's money are being spent with minimum board members present. However, this group led by the officers of this board refuses to dismiss these board members. The other day at the board meeting, I was the quorum. They wanted to give an 11 percent increase, for one year, but I'm fighting them strong. I will not vote on an increase without all of the board members present. They should show some attempt at cuts and stop spending so much. Some of those members say they are for affordable housing, but their actions are not consistent. More people should have run for election; it's their money. This election is set up for them to win, so they can end affordable housing in the Rockaways. Let's fight together to save affordable housing in all the Rockaways. Watch these people closely. It's in the interest all of us to save affordable housing.

BRUCE JACOBS
