PHC Dental Clinic Hits The Road
Peninsula Hospital Center, utilizing the child-oriented Colgate Van, is bringing its Dental Department to local schools this fall. First on the list was P.S. 105, where children lined up to visit with dentists from PHC's Dental Department. The children were given a "look see" oral examination, provided with education about brushing their teeth, toothbrushes and coloring books. The purpose for these school visits is to make sure that children are aware of good dental hygiene and to learn more about what they can do now to ensure good teeth in the future. Pictured, Peter Fam, DDS, of Peninsula Hospital Center's Dental Department, was a big hit with the students at P.S. 105 in Edgemere.
