for larger version       St.Camillus Starts Basketball Registration St. Camillus' basketball program has begun registration for the upcoming season. Registration will be held in the rectory basement on Beach 100 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard on Sunday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday, October 2 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Boys and girls from kindergarten, to the eighth grade, are eligible to register. To be eligible for the program, you can not be 14 years old before December 1, 2006. All players enrolling in the senior programs, from grades 6 to 8, must present an original birth certificate. The registration fee will be $65 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Please keep in mind that the program your child wants to join may be full if you do not register by October 2. Also, registrations accepted after that date will incur a $10 late fee. As always, volunteer coaches are needed to help make the program a success. If you are interested in coaching, please come to one of the registrations and let us know.
Additionally, anyone interested in starting a CYO basketball team must call the St. Camillus rectory at 634-8229 immediately. CYO teams must be registered with the CYO by September 28. Please come down to St. Camillus and join the program. We're sure you'll have fun.
