Anthony Manello
Retired Blacksmith

Anthony Manello, a Rockaway resident for 32 years, died September 22.

Manello, who was born in Brooklyn, was retired from the New York City Department of Sanitation, where he was a blacksmith.

Manello was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Murray Manello.

Manello is survived by his son, Joseph, Joseph, Anthony; daughter, Gloria Catenzano: sister, Constance MacMillan; and two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A service was held at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
