SFDS Sixth Graders Get A Kick Out Of Soccer
Two teams of sixth-grade girls in the St. Francis de Sales CYO soccer program faced off in the first game of the season at Fort Tilden last weekend. Ciara Flynn (center), battles Lorianna D'Alessandro (number 63, in blue) for the ball. D'Alessandro scored twice in the game. Therese Boyle (far right) scored four times in the following day's game. The CYO program services both boys and girls and enrolls more than 200 athletes.
