Queens Borough President's Youth Board Extends Application Deadline

The Queens Borough President's Youth Board has extended its deadline for applications to Friday, September 28. Queens Borough President Helen M. Marshall is seeking teens ages 14- 19 to become a part of the Queens Borough President's Youth Board. The board is an advisory group to the Borough President that meets regularly at Borough Hall to discuss issues of concern and develop plans to address them.

This is an opportunity for youth to represent their community throughout New York State, through the Queens Borough President's partnership with Assets Coming Together (ACT) for youth. The ACT for youth mission is to promote the advancement of asset-based strategies within the services, opportunities, and support necessary for youth to lead healthy

and productive lives.
