Scholarship Program Scores Extra Points For Rockaway's Youth

The Rockaway Sports Association wishes to thank City Councilman James Sanders Jr., for his insight and vision in assisting with the newly formed Field Goal Academy. The academy, which is a part of the Student-Athlete Scholarship Program, will feature, enhance, and increase the scholarship opportunities of our youth in the RSA's Lacrosse Program. The RSA and City Councilman Sanders believe that many of our youth from our lacrosse program will receive athletic scholarships within the next few years. The scholarship will enhance student-athletes who not only play football in the fall, but also compete in lacrosse during the spring.
