Response to Pit Bull Attack
Dear Editor,

It was heartbreaking to read the story of the pit bull found emaciated and full of bite marks on Beach 105 Street and Shore Front Parkway. People who treat pit bulls or any breed of dog like this are dirt bags. Because morons like to abuse this breed (which has been in the United States since the 1840's) for kicks and or profit, I have had people walk across the street to avoid my pit bull "Pretty Girl," who is the most loving, gentle pit bull I've ever known. People tense up in fear; pull their dogs far away from her and so on. I hope the dog in the article gets adopted by someone with no other pets, because the dog may have some dog-on-dog aggression issues.

To the person or persons responsible for the dogs' treatment: you are a punk or punks who deserve to go to a level of Dante's Inferno in which your soul will be attacked for eternity by savage, rabid dogs. Not familiar with Dante's Inferno? Google the title and read the book. That is, if you can read.

JOHN BRENNI
