A Good Place To Pay Your Respects
Dear Editor,

I would just like to thank all the people who organized the ceremonies at Tribute Park on this sixth anniversary of September 11.

It was very nice to have somewhere to go to pay your respects to those who died that day. Although the weather was rainy and dreary, the park was in full bloom with beautiful flowers, the live music in the background was very touching and of course, the 343 American flags that were put in place around the grounds by "the flag man" was very special. This was the second year I attended and next year I hope more people from the community will come out to join in the reading of the names of all the Rockaway residents who gave their lives that terrible day.

Thanks again.

GERRY MAGEE
