Still The Best Sunsets In The World
The Rockaway Sunset Diner may be long-gone and there are always cloudy days when the sunset is masked by gray, but when the conditions are right, particularly in late summer and early fall, Rockaway still has the most beautiful sunsets to be seen anywhere in this state and, possibly, in the entire world. This photo was taken on Wednesday evening from the deck of The Wharf restaurant by Wave editor Howard Schwach. We wanted you to enjoy at least one more, before the winter weather forces us inside.
