St.Edmund Prep High School Opening Mass on September 11
St. Edmund Prep High School held the first Mass of the school year on September 11. The entire school community gathered together to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Father Brophy, pastor of St. Edmund Church, was the celebrant and S. Barbara Doyle, CSJ, Campus Minister, coordinated the event.
Students rang bells to signify the exact moment each plane crashed.
Mr. John Malazzo, music teacher, played "Taps."
The Liturgical Choir sang "God Bless America" and "America the Beautiful."
