Kathleen Casey, a 15 year Rockaway resident, died September 8.

Casey was born in Rockaway Beach. She worked as a secretary for Cushman & Wakefield Realtors.

Casey is survived by her mother, Dolores DeMaio Lyons; husband, Kevin Casey; brothers, John and Patrick Lyons; sister, Sue Ellen Valenti; nieces, Danielle Lyons and Jessica Valenti; and nephews, Christopher Lyons and Thomas Valenti.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment was at St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
