for larger version       Doris Wright Doris Wright, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died August 21. She was 45. Wright, a seamstress, was born in Buckingham, Virginia on June 26, 1962. She was preceded in death by mother, Dollia Wright; father, June Wright; stepfather, Cleophus McMillan; uncles, Louis and Richard Wright; and her aunts, Stella Wolfork and Francis Miller. Wright is survived by her husband, McCoy Ivery Jr.; sons, McCoy Ivery III, Mister Ivery, Melacon Ivery and Rodney Denard; daughters, Wadia and Wakia Ivery; grandson, Benjamin Robinson Brown Jr.; mother-in-law, Gladys Ivery; sister, Alice McMillan; brothers, Anthony, Cleophus and Phillip McMillan; brother-in-law, Michael Harris; sisters-in-law, Jenell Ivery, Dora Zeigler, Evelyn O'Neill, Linda Miles and Betty Portwick; aunts, Louise Green, Estella Smith and Laurina Hopkins; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's funeral home, with visitation at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Forest Park Cemetery in Morganville, New Jersey.
