Doris Klarberg
Secretary

Doris Klarberg, a Rockaway resident for more than 50 years, died at home on August 25. She was 90.

Klarberg was born in New York City on January 1, 1917. She was the city's first-born of the new year, her family said. She was the recording secretary for the Rockaway Park/Belle Harbor Property Owners Association for more than 30 years. Klarberg was also a lifetime member of West End Temple's Ladies Guild and Hadassah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan.

Klarberg is survived by her daughter, Jean and her husband, Jay; son, Barry, his wife, Rindi and their children, Nikole, Matthew, Ryan and Jake.

Services were held at West End Temple. Interment was at Wellwood Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island.
