for larger version       Enid Iser Enid Iser, a Rockaway resident, died August 27. She was 83. Iser, a homemaker, was born in Camaguey, Cuba on July 8, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Rubin Robinson. Iser is survived by her husband, Modesto Iser; son, Esteban B. Iser; daughters, Barbara Smith and Yolanda Hunte; grandchildren, Kelly Iser, Kyle Hawkins, Ashley Hawkins and Trinity-Sky Hunte; sister, Lena Sinclair; nieces, Pat Robinson, Carol Brutus, Sandy Sinclair, Judy Sinclair and Jean Robinson; nephews, Freddie Robinson, Kerry Sinclair and Junior Henry; sister-in-law, Gloria Robinson; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with visitation and a service held at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Disposition was at Fresh Pond Crematory in Middle Village.
