Keitt Promoted To Sergeant First Class
 | | Rashid Keitt, the son of Lisa Keitt and the late Gregory Keitt of Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) on September 1, 2007. He is currently in the United States Army as a U.S. Army recruiter. The promotion ceremony was held at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn on August 31. Keitt's mother, sister Malika, nephew Amar Jr. and niece Eujada attended. His mother had the honor of pinning his new rank on his uniform. Keitt was born and raised in Far Rockaway and lived in the Redfern Houses for over 25 years. He is a 1999 graduate of Far Rockaway High School. |
