Educational Retirees Program begins 9/5

The Institute for Retirees in Pursuit of Education (IRPE) at Brooklyn College announced the beginning of its fall semester on September 5. For a $65 membership fee, participants can take several classes in art, literature, music, health, law and many other areas. Workshops in painting, drama, singing, and computers are also available.

The IRPE program runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Courses are held on the Brooklyn College campus. The campus is accessible from Rockaway via the Q35 bus. For more information, contact Gene Reiser at 718-951-5647 or log on to "irpe.Brooklyn.cuny.edu".
