for larger version       Mary Lillian Watson Mary Lillian Watson, a longtime Rockaway resident, died August 16. She was 74. Watson, a home health aide, was born in Cabot, Arkansas on December 10, 1932. She attended the First Baptist Church of Far Rockaway. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Watson and Victoria Poole Watson; seven brothers; four sisters; and her favorite brotherin law, Willie "Snook" Stewart. She is survived by her brother, Charles Watson (Mary); sisters, Alice Ann Stewart and Iola Smith; greatnephew, Bobby G. Watson; very special friend, Marcella King Crawford; and other family members and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with visitation at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Old Austin Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas.
