for larger version       Stephon Isaiah Washington Stephon Isaiah Washington, who was born in Far Rockaway and had many relatives in the community, died August 16. He was 19. Washington was born on August 3, 1988. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah J. Ashley; and great-grandmothers, Sally R. Brown and Cora Dennis. Washington is survived by his daughter, Zamiya Zarae Washington, fiancée, Shanta Odens, and mother, Sheila Ashley, all of Lorain, Ohio; father, Isaiah Washington and brother, Ikeem Washington, both of Far Rockaway; sisters, Dominique Washington of Far Rockaway, Sha'ton I. Washington and Renee Kistler of Lorain, Ohio; grandparents, Archie Lewis and Evelyn Washington, both of New York; grandfather, Isaiah Washington of New Jersey; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Robinson Funeral Home Services of Lorain, Ohio. Aservice was held at Greater Victory Christian Ministries in Lorain, Ohio. Other arrangements were kept private.
