'Rock And Skate'Set For September 7

The City of New York Parks and Recreation is hosting a "Rock and Skate" event on Friday, September 7 at the hockey rink on Beach 108 Street and Shore Front Parkway, from 6-9 p.m.

The event offers a free skate clinic and free skate usage for participants ages 6 to adult, with limited availability. Music, provided courtesy of 103.5 KTU, will keep the skaters movin' and groovin' in the rink. Participants under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. All participants must bring socks, and safety gear must be worn. For more information, call 718-520- 5919.
