Health & Harmony
Commentary By Dr. Nancy Gahles

DR. NANCY GAHLES
"To be healthy is to be holy. Holy means to be whole, perfect. To be perfect means seeing imperfection with the eyes of the Master: the eyes of loving understanding and acceptance. Strive for tolerance. Never condemn your brother or sister - love them." -The Source of all our Strength, White Eagle

The buzzwords holy and perfect no doubt evoked a visceral response. Rightly so! A very good reminder that thoughts, feelings and emotions are felt and expressed through our body vehicle. Be conscious of that connection. Understanding and awareness that our words and our response to the words of others creates an inner reaction will lead us to create a new set of words that will better reflect a consciousness of wholeness, perfection and holiness.

To be healthy, one must maintain an attitude of equanimity. All right action that arises from a sense of acceptance and tolerance of the differences of others leads one inevitably into a state of health. When one is able to view all life and all conditions of life as a gift, an educational situation, then one is able to see through the eyes of a master. That is, one who is unperturbed by judgments and criticism, but instead receives all of life's opportunities with grace. These are those ones who make the proverbial lemonade out of lemons. These are the healthy ones. These are the perfect ones. These are the holy ones. We all carry the seeds of perfection within. It is simply a matter of conscious awareness of this fact. All one must really do to be healthy is to connect with your intuition, see others with the eyes of tolerance/acceptance/ love and treat others the way you would like to be treated. As Rashi said, "All the rest is narrative." Be Healthy, Be Holy, Be perfect. We have nothing better to do!

Bask in the glory days of late summer and give thanks. All will be well.

May The Blessings Be!
