James T.Fox

James T. Fox, a lifelong resident of Roxbury, died August 19.

Fox was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He was a doorman and a member of Local 32BJ NYC. Fox served his country in the U.S. Army

He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica; and sisters, Marilyn Golden and Kathy Rowe.

Fox is survived by his sons, Kevin and James (Michelle); daughter, Patricia McGoorty (Joseph); sister, Joan Sauerwein; and grandchildren, Joseph, Rita and Desmond.

Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Genevieve Church in Rockaway Point. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery.
