Cannon was born on February 3, 1966 in Far Rockaway. He worked as a construction worker. According to family, Cannon was passionate about music and his work as a DJ, amassing a huge record collection and building stereo sound systems. He was also passionate about sports and participated in football, basketball and baseball. In his spare time, he enjoyed roller skating, reading automotive magazines and also loved cars. Cannon is survived by his mother, Roeshell Cannon; father, John Cannon; daughter, Jayla Cannon; son, Ahkeil Moore; siblings, Eryck Cannon and Saundra Cannon; nephew, Jerrel Cannon; fiancée, Takisha Moore; god brothers, Kerwin and Jemal Bradley; friends, Marlene Amaro and Maggie Moore; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and a service were held at St. John's Baptist Church in Inwood. Interment was at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, Long Island.
