Blood Drive Successful at SJEH
The blood drive at St. John's Episcopal Hospital held on Thursday, August 2, 2007, successfully collected a record number of units of blood for a St. John's drive for Long Island Blood Services. "We are very grateful to everyone who donated blood," said Puangsri Suwankosai, MD, Chairman of the Laboratories and Pathology at St. John's and blood drive chairman. "Donating blood is literally the gift of life. Without the generous support of our donors, among the community and the staff, we would not have an adequate supply to treat those in need," she added.
