Local resident Joe Hartigan sent over pictures to The Wave to remind our readership of the possibilities that await the Rockaway bayfront, pictured above. Below is a recent photo of a bayfront promenade in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Hartigan says that the New Jersey location once looked as shabby and desolate as Rockaway's, but was spruced up and made into a viable community space. When will it be our turn for a change?
