'Function At The Junction'Draws Hundreds To Bayswater Park
Seven years ago, a group of Far Rockaway residents thought that it would be fun to get together with their friends who had left Rockaway for other cities, other states. So was born the annual "Function At The Junction," which was first held at Fort Tilden and then moved to Bayswater Park. Now, in its seventh year, the Function has grown under the coordination of Cynthia Woods and on July 21, it drew hundreds to the park for music, food and socializing. Pictured, some of the people who came from far and wide to celebrate their roots in Rockaway.
