RSA,Morgan Stanley Kick Off Clean-Up Program

The Rockaway Sports Association, along with Morgan Stanley, has initiated the "Pay It Forward" program to encourage young adults to assist their community. One of the first initiatives for the RSA was to implement a clean-up program throughout the Rockaways and the first stop was at the Beach 25 Street subway station in Wavecrest. The clean-up crew, from left to right: Carolyn Leigh-Carter; Judy Garcia - Community Liaison for Councilman James Sanders Jr, (31st CD); Chris Rogers, Operations Manager at Morgan Stanley; RSA Coach Kevin Coleman; Lt. Gary Messina of the 101 Precinct; and RSA President Greg Carter.
The RSA and the Seawolves Lacrosse Team would like to thank Supervisor Thomas Moore and the Brooklyn Sanitation Department for providing the equipment for the cleanup.
