RLL All Stars Win Queens District Championship

The Rockaway Little League 9 and 10 year old All-Stars reclaimed the District 27 Flag by defeating perennial powerhouse Ridgewood/Glendale/ Middle Village/Maspeth Little League All- Stars (RGMVM) in the championship game on Sunday, July 22.

It is the first time since 2001 that the Rockaway Little League 9 & 10 year old All Stars have won the District 27 Flag.

In a hard fought game, both teams left their energy all out on the field but Rockaway proved victorious by getting the winning run in their final at bat in the game.

Rockaway now advances to the Little League Sectional Championships, where they will take on a very tough opponent from the Bronx.
